We get it… visiting a church for the first time can be pretty uncomfortable. But knowing what to expect can go a long way in helping to make your visit more relaxing and enjoyable. So we have tried to answer some of the most common questions people ask when they are trying to find out the dynamics of a new church.

What’s the Overall “Feel”at LPAG?

When you walk through the doors of LPAG, you will experience friendly and down to earth people who may turn out to be great friends. The coffee is hot, the atmosphere is alive, and look forward to meeting you.

What’s the Music Like at LPAG?

We love music at La Porte Assembly. For us, music is one of the incredible tools that we have to truly worship our Heavenly Father. Regardless of the style, music is our response to the revelation of the person of Jesus and the salvation He offers, and our surrender to what the Holy Spirit is doing in our lives.

We have a high-energy, multi-generational team helping to lead and encourage our congregation in their personal praise and worship. Our strategy is always to strive for excellence while keeping the work of the Holy Spirit as the central focus of our planning. We’re confident you will enjoy participating with us, but more importantly, we believe you will have a life-changing encounter with the Holy Spirit as you do.

What is the Teaching Like at LPAG?

Whether in our student ministries or adult ministries, our goal is the same - to communicate the unchanging Word of God in a way that is designed to be relevant, engaging and challenging.

Because your kids matter to us, we continually strive to create a safe environment where they can have a great time and learn about a great big God. Our goal is that they will find K'Nect 10 a place they can't wait to get to!
