Doing Life with The Spirit;

What the Holy Spirit Does for Us

The Holy Spirt Motivates Unity in the Body of Christ.

How can we succeed at living in unity?

1)              Develop the right attitude.

2)              Detemine to work at unity.

3)              Delight in the purpose of unity

4)              Discover the value of the diversity of gifts and personalities.

5)  Dedicate yourself to serve others.

Ephesians 4: 12 & 13 (NLT)

  Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

Philippians 2: 1 – (NLT)

    Is there any encouragement from belonging to Christ? Any comfort from his love? Any fellowship together in the Spirit? Are your hearts tender and compassionate? 2 Then make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one mind and purpose. 3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.   4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.   5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. 6Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to.   7 Instead, he gave up his divine privilege; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form,  8he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
